Ladies Rowing
Weymouth Ladies Squad and Team Coaches - Newquay 2010
All three of our Ladies Captains enjoyed their roles so much they are continuing for the 2012 season.
We have an interesting mix of novices and experienced rowers who are keen to compete for the club. The last season saw our ladies training hard on and off the water. A formalised training plan, aimed to improve their rowing fitness and technique, paid dividends. With our Ladies A crew coming 21st in the World Championships.
The Regatta season is from April until September. These are always well attended by our crews and spectators. Some of our novices will be rowing their first competitive races this year. Our friendly squad is always ready to help them to settle into their crews as quickly as possible.
We are very lucky to have such a friendly ladies section. There is nothing we like best after a hard row than a coffee shop treat in Hope Square!
